If renewing for NJ, you must provide proof of permit card to ATI prior to taking the class. The LIRA Refresher is a Bi-Annual Refresher.
NYSDOH/EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector Initial
with Subject Matter Expert
This is a NYSDOH Approved Course through our Affitilate Partners
Our Asbestos Building Inspector Initial training course certifies individuals to assess the condition of Asbestos material and report the results. Any person who performs the tasks involved in the asbestos survey, identification and assessment of the condition of asbestos and asbestos material, or who is involved in the collection of bulk samples of asbestos material for laboratory analysis, needs this training. This 3-Day training sessions prepares you to immediately apply your knowledge to the field. Please note this course is composed of Lecture and Hands-On.
Lead Abatement Supervisor Initial
with Subject Matter Expert
Interactive 5-Day (40 Hour) Training that includes lecture and hands-on. Topics include but not limited to: Lead-Based Paint hazards, federal and state regulaions and guidelines. Project management, worker protection, mitigation, legal and issurance and supervisor roles.

Application Education and Experience Requirement:
Prior to training, all individuals applying for a Lead Supervisor for Housing and Public Buildings permit must certify that they meet the minimum education and experience requirements as set forth at N.J.A.C. 8:62-3.2(e).
A permit will be issued only to those applicants who meet the following:
1. A minimum of one (1) year experience as a lead abatement worker; and
2. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a related field or the construction trades.
